These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Metravyx Ltd ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Oakwell Edge mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, registering, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 14 years old to register and use the App. By creating an account, you warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have reviewed these Terms with a parent or legal guardian and that they consent to your use of the App.
No Monetary Risk: Oakwell Edge is strictly a free-to-play sports prediction and skill game. No real money, currency, or tangible assets are required to enter, play, or submit score predictions.
No Commercial Gambling: The App does not facilitate, permit, or support sports betting, wagering, or real-money gambling. You are strictly prohibited from using the App, its data, or leaderboards to organize, facilitate, or settle independent wagers or side bets.
No Real-World Cash Value: Any points, ranks, badges, tokens, or leaderboard positions earned within the App are purely virtual. They carry zero monetary or intrinsic financial value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed, sold, exchanged, or cashed out for real-world currency or assets.
No Sponsorship: Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of, endorsed by, partners with, or responsible for any competitions, score prediction pools, prizes, or promotions inside the App. All activities are managed solely by Metravyx Ltd and its authorized partners.
Complete Liability Release: By accepting these terms, you agree to fully release Apple Inc. and Google LLC from any and all claims, legal actions, or liabilities arising out of or connected to your participation in competitions, leaderboard rankings, or the delivery and fulfillment of any promotional prizes.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You agree to provide accurate, truthful information when registering.
In compliance with app store policies, you have the right to terminate this agreement and delete your account at any time directly via the Profile section of the App. Upon deletion, your historical prediction records and points balance will be permanently erased or anonymized.
Predictions must be submitted entirely before the official kickoff time of each respective match. Late, edited, or locked submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. Points, rankings, and leaderboard outcomes are calculated according to the transparent in-app scoring rules. Metravyx Ltd reserves the right to audit, correct, adjust, or invalidate scores resulting from technical errors, feed glitches, or platform synchronization issues. At the end of the tournament/season, if players are tied on points, overall accuracy percentage will be used to determine the winner.
Where real-world prizes or promotions are offered (such as merchandise or event tickets), specific eligibility criteria (including age and geographic location) may apply and will be detailed alongside the prize. Metravyx Ltd will contact winners directly.
If a prize handover requires sharing contact details with a partner (such as Barnsley Football Club), we will request your explicit consent first. If consent is withheld, an alternative prize or fulfillment method may be offered at our discretion, but is not guaranteed.
All prizes are awarded at the discretion of Barnsley Football Club and are subject to the published game terms and conditions. Ticket credit prizes are additionally subject to Barnsley Football Club's ticketing terms and conditions.
You must not misuse the App. Forbidden actions include, but are not limited to:
Attempting to manipulate scoring, match feeds, or rankings via automation, scripts, or bots.
Creating multiple or fraudulent accounts to gain a competitive advantage on leaderboards.
Interfering with or disrupting the network infrastructure, servers, or API services of the App.
Metravyx Ltd retains absolute discretion to temporarily suspend or permanently ban accounts found violating this section, without prior notice.
We aim to keep the App functional, updated, and accurate. However, the App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, completely real-time data synchronisation, or error-free scoring feeds. Features may change, be suspended, or discontinued to comply with technical changes or platform policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Metravyx Ltd, its directors, and its partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or financial losses arising from your use of the App, operational outages, score data delays, or device transmission failures.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are unhappy with the App or how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at support@metravyx.com or via the Support section of the App and we will do our best to resolve your concern.
If you remain unhappy with how we process your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Guidance on making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
Your personal data is handled securely in line with our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time to maintain platform compliance. Material updates will be communicated by refreshing the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, via an in-app system notification.
